How to get here

Located at 1 Banjo Drive at the top of the hill, we are a 35 minute drive from Jindabyne and a approximately 1 3/4 hours from Victoria. Park your car along the street or secure your car in an overnight car park in the nearby Village.

If you are arriving from New South Wales, take a left hand turn on to the Alpine Way after Jindabyne. Threbdo is about a 35 minute drive from Jindabyne.

Turn right from the Alpine Way to Friday Drive and along Diggins Terrace road which then joins on to Banjo Drive. The Silver Brumby is located on your left hand side at the top of Banjo Drive.

Alternatively, from the Alpine Way you can take the second turn off into Thredbo village. You will then be in Banjo Drive and the Silver Brumby is the first building on the right.

If you are arriving from Victoria through Khancoban on the Alpine Way, the road is sealed all the way. The journey takes about 1 ¾ hours with some breathtaking scenery along the way. From the Alpine Way, take the first left hand turn and you will then be in Banjo Drive. The Silver Brumby is the first building on your right.

Parking

Parking in the driveway is permitted while unloading, or for late arrivals until morning. Overnight parking is available up the hill to the Alpine Way and along about 100m, and in a second overnight car park back down in the Village towards the Thredbo Leisure Centre.
