Access from NSW requires a left hand turn on to the Alpine Way after leaving Jindabyne. Jindabyne is about a 35 minute drive from Thredbo.
The Alpine Way
From the Alpine Way the first turn off to Thredbo takes you into the Village, along Friday Flat Drive and around Diggins Terrace which then joins on to Banjo Drive. The Silver Brumby is located on your left hand side right at the top of Banjo Drive.
Alternatively, from the Alpine Way you can take the second turn off into the Village. You will then be in Banjo Drive and the Silver Brumby is the first building on the right.
Access from Victoria is via Khancoban along the Alpine Way. The road is sealed all the way and the journey takes about 1 3/4 hours with some breathtaking scenery along the way. From Victoria the first entrance into the Village is a left hand turn into Banjo Drive. The Silver Brumby is the first lodge on your right.
Parking
Parking in the driveway is permitted while unloading, or for late arrivals until morning. Overnight parking is available up the hill to the Alpine Way and along about 100m, and in a second overnight car park back down in the Village towards the Thredbo Leisure Centre.
