    More information

    Snow Sports
Snowboarding, skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country and back country skiing is what Thredbo is all about in winter. Snow sports school bookings for all ages and ability can be made through Thredbo sports on 02 6459 4100. Group and private lessons are available.

    Flare Run
The flare run lights up the Super-Trail every Saturday night and one of the best vantage points to view it is from the Silver Brumby balcony!

    Mountain Hosts
The Thredbo mountain hosts know Thredbo extremely well and want to share the best ski spots with you. You can meet them at the top of the Gunbarrel Express chairlift daily. This free service is suited to snow riders of an intermediate level and above.

    Night Riding
On Thursday nights Friday Flat is open for beginners and Saturday nights the Supertrail under lights is a magical experience.

    Winter Walks
Not a skier? There are self-guided village walks which can be done any time of year (choose from Heritage, Art, Environmental, Memorial and Eco). Other walks we would recommend in winter are the Riverside golf course walk, Bridle loop trail and pipeline path.
